FVAMC is proud to partner with Foodshare and the Town of Avon Social Services to serve as a distribution center for Mobile Foodshare. This partnership– forged in May 2015 – builds on our commitment to serve those in need in our local community. The Mobile Foodshare distributes bread, fresh produce, and other food items, depending on availability. Volunteers from FVAMC, the Town of Avon, and local faith organizations join hands to serve 60-80 people every other Tuesday 10:00-10:30 am at FVAMC (35 Harris Road, Avon, CT 06001).
